Having trouble restoring your App Store purchases?
- Double-check you're using the right Apple ID - it's gotta be the one you used for the original purchase.
- Make sure your internet connection isn't acting up.
- Head to Settings > [Your Name] > iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID and hit "View Apple ID." Just confirming you're logged in.
- Get your iOS up to date if it isn't already.
- Find the app you want to restore in the App Store and tap that download icon.
- If that's a no-go, try signing out of your Apple ID and jumping back in.
- When in doubt, restart your device. It's surprising how often that does the trick.
- Still hitting a wall? You might need to give Apple Support a shout. They can peek at your purchase history and help sort things out.
How do I remove the transparent background I previously set for my widgets?
- Long-press the widget
- Tap "Edit Widget"
- In the background options, select "Opaque"
The widget's time is inaccurate
Try opening the main app once. If it hasn't synced the time yet, restart your phone.
The widget is displaying abnormally
- First off, try the old "turn it off and on again" trick. Reboot your phone and see if that fixes things.
- Give the widget the boot and then add it back. Sometimes they just need a fresh start.
- If you're still stuck, you might need to go nuclear: uninstall and reinstall the app.
